Small memory game. Match the runes before time is over and get the highest score.

Do you think you are the best summoner in magic school
RUNECATCHER is your chance to prove it! Use your magic knowledge and memory as you run through Necronomicon's pages looking for the right runes for your spell, and  test your reaction time to get them before they dissapear. The more runes you get the longer and more complex the summoning spell will be, allowing you to summon more powerful creatures.

Made for the #Chain Letter Jam  started by Miziziziz and my first foray into GameBoy hombrew games making.
While still trying to keep the same core idea (1 minute time limit, catching letters shown on screen) I gave the Jam's theme my own personal spin, so my game ended being quite different to everyone's else. Hope that doesn't mean I'm the crazy guy that ruined the fun breaking the chain.

If nominated, you have two weeks to make a 1 minute game in some way inspired by the game that nominated you.
Once finished, put #ChainLetterJam in your game description, a link to the game that nominated you, and then nominate two other devs (or less or more, whatever, this isn't a chain letter where you die in three days if you don't).

This is the chain of games that led to this one:

Really cool! The art and color palette are cohesive and stylish, and the gameplay is very understandable and has a good difficulty level :D also, I noticed you said you were an artist for Gravity Circuit and wanted to say that game's art is amazing too

Thank You so much! I'm glad You enjoyed it so much!

The art is lovely. It took me a bit to figure out I needed to press "J" in order to get through the tutorial and select play . Otherwise very well done. Challenging without being impossible. Nice music too.

Thank You! I'll keep the controls issue in mind, since I want to give this game a small update at some point. I'm glad you had fun with it!

Excellent game, particularly the art. I found a small bug - during the tutorial, you can move the page up and down.
